Switzerland – Adecco Group Swiss Job Market Index shows job ads fall 15% in Q4 18 January 2021 Companies in Switzerland advertised 15% fewer jobs in the fourth quarter of 2020 when compared to the same period last year, according to the Adecco Group Swiss Job Market Index conducted by the Swiss Job Market Monitor from the University of Zurich. Monica Dell’Anna, CEO of the Adecco Group Switzerland, said the first wave of the pandemic and subsequent, wide-ranging precautionary measures had a big impact on many companies, leading to a Swiss-wide fall in the number of job ads. Dell’Anna added that the number of job advertisements has increased again by 8% to the end of the 4th quarter of 2020.
