Warning is in effect for parts of the north and south carolina coast due to subtropical storm ana, the first named system of the 2015 hurricane season. mike seidel has the latest from myrtle beach south carolina. hi mike. reporter: good afternoon, we re tracking first named storm of the season. it is subtropical storm ana, 180 miles southeast in myrtle beach and that s where most of the storms are. rain and thunderstorms and convection have been located today on the south and southeast side of the system. we ve had a couple of showers rotate and one has moved inland. this five-minute shower cleared the beaches and now the sun is back out and folks are beginning to come back out here. one thing you ll notice red flags and no swimming signs, this is a big deal when you have a low end system. the impacts are all here at the beaches, beach erosion, dangerous surf and rip current, these are flying here on the grand strand. if you re planning to go to beaches this weekend up and down the c ....
