The Razorbacks made a cross-country trip to take on tenth-ranked Stanford at the Avery Aquatic Center in Palo Alto, California. Stanford is a perennial powerhouse and proved to be a very difficult adversary for the Hogs, who fell to Stanford by a score of 161-133.
The Razorbacks are on the road for their third away meet of the season as they travel to Palo Alto, Calif. to take on tenth-ranked Stanford. “This will be a big challenge, but we are up for it,” said head coach Neil Harper of the matchup.
Alessia Ferraguti earned SEC Women’s Swimmer of the Week honors for the second time this season for her performance against the LSU Tigers in the team’s first road meet of the year. Ferraguti’s success was key to propelling the Razorbacks to a 151-149 victory over a talent-rich LSU team.
The Hogs made a stop in Little Rock to face off against in-state opponent University of Arkansas-Little Rock for a non-conference meet on the the home stretch of a road trip that took the Razorbacks to Baton Rouge where they faced off with the LSU Tigers.
The Razorbacks have taken to the road for their first pair of away meets this season as they travel to Baton Rouge to square off against LSU on Thursday before returning to Arkansas to face UALR at their natatorium in Little Rock on Friday morning.
