Subscriber only A Coast family is set to hang up their aprons and bid farewell to their hinterland dream after four and a half years at the helm of a popular cafe. Sweethearts Cafe in Eudlo is an institution of the region with visitors flocking from all over Queensland to sample the homemade treats and bask in the relaxing garden. Sharon Knight and her family took ownership of the cafe in 2017 and haven t looked back, turning it into the must stop for Sunday drivers that it is today. I love working with people and I love cooking but I d never done it before … it was a rude awakening, she said.
