The trooper shot has not been identified by police as of yet, but we did learn hes a corporal with the state police out of the belle fast r barracks. He was shot three times during that altercation along the highway. They did not tell us where he was shot. He was worked on at scene and throughout the flight to the hospital. Police say he was critically injured. He did go through surgery this afternoon and police say they are encouraged by the progress hes made in the last few hours.
