Maharashtra’s largest central Jail the Yerawada Central Jail is going to be equipped with an open prison colony for women.
Home minister Dilip
Walse-Patil on Saturday visited the central jail and announced the setting up of an open prison for women, which is currently missing in the jail.
The Yerawada jail has an open prison for male prisoners, but it is not a colony where the prisoner can live with his family or children. ....
