SWANZEY — A few of The Sentinel’s elves will help children write letters to Santa on Saturday during the town’s annual A Very Swanzey Christmas celebration.
Heavy rain over the past couple days washed out roads in Swanzey and surrounding towns in Cheshire County and prompted at least one camp to be evacuated.
