AN APPEAL to raise £1.7k to kick off a bid to install life-saving defibrillators across Halesowen North has been started.
The Swan pub on Long Lane has agreed to have a defib after being contacted by campaigner and fireman Stuart Henley, who has started the appeal.
Defibrillators are put on the outside of buildings.
To use the defib people must call 999 when they are given a code to open it and instructions on how to use it.
The code changes each time it is used.
A defibrillator is on the wall of the pub Picks on Halesowen High Street after fundraising on the Facebook page Halesowen Times - Take Two. ....
