Jeremy Smith wrapped up the driving title at Miami Valley Gaming as he won three of the 12 $27,397 Buckeye Stallion Series divisions for three-year-old colt pacers and trotters on Thursday, May 2.
Nine Buckeye Stallion Series races highlighted the first night of racing on Tuesday (Aug. 8) from the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana, Ohio with each of the five divisions for two-year-old colt trotters and the four divisions for two-year-old filly pacers carried a purse of $20,000. Dan Noble won four of the nine races, two in each division.
Six divisions of freshman colt trotters took to the track Thursday (July 20) at Eldorado Scioto Downs in Buckeye Stallion Series action and the fastest division of the night was captured by Gypsy Hill.
The first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for two-year-old colt trotters is in the books. Six $20,000 divisions went to the post on Monday, July 10 at MGM Northfield Park.
