SUTTON   A letter signed “We the People of Sutton’’ recently submitted to the Sutton Select Board seeks to have town officials rescind the state of emergency enacted by Gov. Charlie Baker in March in response to rising COVID-19 cases.
The board is asked to “provide the clinical or verifiable scientific evidence that an actual widespread emergency condition exists.’’

“The people of Sutton want this over with,’’ town resident Tammy Blakeslee said at the meeting Tuesday, Jan. 5. “We hope Sutton will be a leader in getting us out of this medical tyranny.’’
The letter was delivered Tuesday to town hall signed, “We the People of Sutton.’’ The board is asked to “provide the clinical or verifiable scientific evidence that an actual widespread emergency condition exists,’’ among other requests. ....
