A Bristol secondary school has adopted a black hair code, that allows pupils to wear afros, braids and cornrows. Bristol Brunel Academy has announced it is backing The Halo Code, an initiative set up amid complaints that black people are humiliated at work because our hair is deemed unprofessional, according to the initiative s founders.
