Police committed to supporting DV victims under new stay-at-home orders
As the state responds to a new threat of coronavirus, with stay-at-home restrictions in place, the NSW Police Force is committed to supporting and protecting victims of domestic and family violence during the pandemic.
On Saturday 26 June 2021, the NSW Government announced wider stay-at-home directions for Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour.
This means that anyone who lives in, works in or studies in these local government areas must follow the stay-at-home rules for 14 days until 11.59pm on Friday 9 July 2021 – unless they have a reasonable excuse.
