Habitat for Humanity of Laredo received a $10,000 donation Tuesday from the BBVA Foundation. The funds will be used to support an upcoming Women Build Day.Courtesy photo
The Habitat for Humanity of Laredo, an organization focused on building and rebuilding, received $10,000 toward those efforts with a check presented Tuesday by the BBVA Foundation.
According to Habitat for Humanity of Laredo Executive Director Carol Sherwood, the money will be used for their Women Build Day, which is a day when women from all around the community go out and help build a home for a local family.
