Shortly after the New Year, there will be a major shift in management at Seacoast Repertory Theatre with the departure of Executive Director Kathleen Cavalaro on Jan 13. In addition, Board of Trustees President Alan Gold will step down on Jan. 1.
Cavalaro told the Board of Trustees she was resigning to refocus her energy and pursue other interests at its last meeting on Dec. 17. We were shocked, but not surprised, Gold said. We were shocked by the suddenness and not surprised by the resignation given all the pressure she s been under, especially given 2020.
Cavalaro joined the Rep in 2014 as the interim managing director and was named executive director six months later.
