Melissa Santos SWANSEA While the recent inter-municipal sewer agreement between Swansea and Somerset has the potential to revitalize Route 6, Swansea continues to work with developers to bring the area of the old Swansea Mall back to life. Swansea Selectman Chris Carreiro said developers estimate that they will spend approximately $200 million between redevelopment of the actual mall as well as constructing market rate apartments that will be built on pad sites on the Swansea Mall property. Carreiro approximated that there will be between 144-150 units constructed on the land with hopes that it will help “feed the businesses in the mall.” ....
