The Southern Environmental Law Center has filed a petition on behalf of We Matter Eight Mile Community Association and 20 other environmental justice and faith-based organizations. The petition asks the Environmental Protection Agency to use their "emergency power" to step in and help with the city's water crisis.

I believe that the ALL-KNOWING GOD is nudging the entire world in the direction of His WORD. Didn’t JESUS admonish us in Matthew 6:19-21, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
