Eight more mountaineers, who were trapped in an avalanche at Draupadi Ka Danda-II mountain peak in Uttarakhand were airlifted to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Wednesday.
A day after four mountaineers lost their lives in the avalanche in Uttarkashi with several still missing, the survivors narrated their horrific experiences on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, eight additional mountaineers who were stranded in an avalanche at Uttarakhand's Draupadi Ka Danda-II high peak were flown to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). So far, 14 people have been evacuated as a result of the incident. The rescued mountaineers arrived in Matli, Uttarkashi, today, where they are receiving first aid care. These guys were flown by helicopter to the 12th ITBP Battalion in Matli, Uttarkashi.
