It is gratifying to see osprey comfortable in their nest, free of traffic cone. The cone could have been removed from the nest where the nest was. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service enforces the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and was OK with the nest pole where it was. Service staff know osprey are adaptable.
