Pieces of the plane scattered across the tracks near South Oyster Bay road, suspending service between hicksville and farmingdale. But an mta spokesperson says the crash could have been catastrophic. There was no train going through at that point, but the crossing was open. So, you know, there was a possibility there could have been cars going through.
