Majority of Cranbury School students set for in-person learning to finish out school year
As the Cranbury School District prepares for the end of the 2020-21 school year, 80% of district students will participate in in-person instruction.
The district administration announced last month that the Cranbury School would be expanding in-person learning to Wednesdays starting March 24.
Since the presentation by Superintendent Susan Genco and Assistant Principal Michele Waldron on March 15, outlining the increasing of in-person learning at the Cranbury School, parents had been asked being asked by the district administration to select a final learning model for the rest of the 2020-21 school year.
Cranbury School District pushes for teachers to receive COVID-19 vaccine access
The Cranbury School District has been calling for teachers to receive the highest priority access to New Jersey’s COVID-19 vaccine roll out since late January.
Earlier this month, Superintendent Susan Genco joined other district superintendents and administrators within Middlesex County on a letter sent to Gov. Phil Murphy urging that teachers receive that access to vaccinations. The letter followed a previous letter that had been sent by the Cranbury School District to Murphy.
“The Cranbury Township Board of Education and I wholeheartedly agree that educators should have priority access to the COVID-19 vaccine,” Genco said. “On Jan. 29, I sent a letter to Gov.
