Strongsville schools plan return to in-person learning in mid-January

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – The Strongsville schools will continue teaching all children remotely after the winter break, from Jan. 4-8, before gradually bringing them back to in-person learning, the school board and Superintendent Cameron Ryba have decided.
Starting Jan. 11, pupils in pre-kindergarten through grade five will report to in-person classes five days a week, while middle and high school pupils will move to the hybrid model, studying at home three days a week and in school the other two days.
Then, starting Jan. 25, pupils at all grade levels will transition to in-person learning every day, barring a significant spike in COVID-19 cases or a change in Cuyahoga County’s pandemic alert status to purple, the most serious level. ....
