(West Fargo, ND) – West Fargo Public Schools is back to looking at options after its recently failed $147 million referendum. On Monday night, Superintendent Beth Slette asked the board to consider approving a community engagement process called ‘Facility Plan 2.0.’ The board unanimously agreed to reconvene it’s long-range facilities task force, beginning in the new year.
The new task force would engage the public more and earlier before the bond is put together, Superintendent Beth Slette said, and would be more involved in public meetings and engaging the public.
A majority of those who voted "no" said they either didn't like the plan or thought it was too expensive, while those who didn't vote said they didn't know about the vote, or had something come up.
