Kalyan: Five held for kidnapping six-month-old baby

Kalyan, June 9: The Mahatma Phule Police Station in Kalyan have arrested five people including two women for kidnapping a six-month old boy. The police after scrutinizing different CCTV footages trace the accused. They were about to sell the child for Rs 1 lakh.
The police said various beggars usually sleep outside Kalyan railway station on the west side. On June 5, at 10pm Sunita Rajkumar Nath, 30, was sleeping along with her six kids.
Sunita claims the kidnapping took place in-between 10pm to 1am of June 6, 2021. Her youngest child Jeeva was kidnapped by unknown people. She then approached the Mahatma Phule Police Station in Kalyan and informed them about the kidnapping, said a police officer. ....
