Jaipur, April 28 : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that his wife Sunita Gehlot tested Covid positive on Wednesday, and he would be isolating as a precaution.
Sharing the information on his Twitter handle, he said that as per protocol, her treatment has started while she remains under home isolation.
As a precaution, I shall attend regular Covid review meetings with officials and medical teams at 8.30 p.m. while being in isolation, he added.
More than a lakh have tested positive in Rajasthan in the last one week while over 500 have died. ....

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot went into self-isolation on Wednesday after his wife tested positive for COVID-19.
“My wife Sunita Gehlot has tested positive for COVID-19 and is asymptomatic. As per the protocol, her treatment under home isolation has started. I will also be in home isolation as a precaution,” Mr. Gehlot tweeted. ....

New Delhi [India], April 28 (ANI): Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday isolated himself after his wife Sunita Gehlot tested positive for COVID-19.
Taking to Twitter, Gehlot said, My wife Sunita Gehlot has tested positive for COVID-19 and is asymptomatic. As per protocol, her treatment under home isolation has started.
I will be going under isolation as a precautionary measure and hold Covid-19 review meetings with doctors and officials daily at 8.30 pm, he added.
The chief minister had been actively taking part in offline meetings with officials to discuss the overall Covid-19 situation in Rajasthan. ....
