STATE Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew was informed by the Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd (MASB) management that MASB had allocated a sum of RM8.4 million for upgrading the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).
KOTA KINABALU: The Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) will be given a facelift with a RM8.4mil allocation from Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd (MASB), while Tawau airport will receive RM11mil for the same purpose.
I AM greatly appreciative that the KKIA management has invited SEAC and SEAC tourism committee to a meeting on 4th August 2022. The meeting has been fruitful and frank. From the KKIA management were Senior Manager, Tuan Haji Sunif Naiman, incoming senior manager/Operation Jefry Ramli, Rehan Shafiq (Commercial) and Jekeria Semat (Engineering)
The followings issues were brought up and discussed in depth during the meeting
A house, a car workshop and five vehicles were destroyed in a fire at Jalan Bunga Raya in Kapayan, here, Monday.
The fire was brought under control at 4.38pm, with no reports of injuries
