(TENAFLY, NJ) ACC Gallery presents solo exhibition by Inho Cho entitled "Quiet Wandering: A Korean Travelogue through Ink-and Wash" from Feburary 15-29, 2024. The exhibition was curated by Sunglim Kim (Art Historian / Dartmouth College).
The Charles B. Wang Center is presenting a new exhibition titled “Park Dae Sung: Ink Reimagined,” showcasing captivating ink-based paintings by the renowned Korean artist Park Dae Sung. Through his artwork, Park breathes life into ancient landscapes and objects, inviting viewers to consider the relationship between tradition and modernity, as well as the influence of the past on the present.
Sunglim Kim, an associate professor of Korean art and culture at Dartmouth, presents a talk on the Josean period genre of still-life painting called chaekgeori, and how it was shown on an international level.
