New Delhi: Indian benchmark indices opened lower on Friday with Nifty below 15,100 on the back of weak global markets. At 09:15 am, Sensex was down 222.82 points or 0.43% at 51,101.87, and broader Nifty was down 64.50 points or 0.43% at 15,054.50.
Note that as of closing on Thursday, both Sensex and Nifty gave up Monday s gains, courtesy the three-day drop. Among the sectoral indices, the PSU Bank index opened 0.8% higher in today s trade while the Nifty Bank index shed another 200 points to open below the 36,500 mark.
The Board of Sunedison Infrastructure at its meeting held on 15 December 2020 have accorded their approval for capital contribution to be made by the Company amounting to Rs 18.66 crore in Sherisha Solar LLP, under the provisions of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (LLP Act) by way of execution of a limited liability partnership agreement.
The investment is part of the restructuring of the company s business to separate the under-construction solar power projects and the commissioned solar power projects.
