A powerful explosion has reportedly occurred at a gas plant at Efurrun, Uvwie Local Government Council Area of Delta State, South-South Nigeria. Anti-graft Agency, EFCC To Appeal Court Ruling That Freed Ex-Plateau Governor, Jonah Jang In N6.3billion Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has filed an appeal against a Plateau High Court decision that discharged and acquitted Senator Jonah Jang and Yusuf Pam of corruption charges totaling N6.3billion. This was disclosed by the agency's spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, on Friday. He said, “The Commission has initiated processes for an Appeal immediately” in a statement seen on the anti-graft body’s official Twitter page.
