Elizabeth Burns Anderson, a fifth-generation banker and Magnolia native, was named executive director of the new Farmers Bank Foundation in May. She is also a senior vice president at the bank.
Burns Anderson has more than 20 years of experience in finance and banking. She was appointed consumer representative of the Arkansas State Medical Board last year and is a Lonoke School Board member. Burns Anderson is also a founding member and chairman of the Lonoke Community Fund, a chapter of the Arkansas Community Foundation, and president of the Lonoke Century League. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and commercial banking from the University of Arkansas.
