More of Rocky Mountain National Park, Highway 34 Reopen
On December 10, the National Park Service announced that portions of US Highway 34 and Rocky Mountain National Park that closed due to the East Troublesome and Cameron Peak Fires have reopened.
On the west side of the park, Highway 34 from the Grand Lake Entrance to the Colorado River Trailhead have now reopened, along with access to several trails, including Timber Lake Trail. However, the park service release said that North Inlet Trail, Sun Valley Trail and Kawuneeche Visitor Center are still closed.

On the east side of the park, the Upper Hidden Valley area and the Moraine Park Road up to the campground have reopened as well. The campground is now open, but campers, however, cannot have campfires unless they are within campfire rings in designated areas. ....
