Morning and it caused enough concern that the bomb squad and determined the device was not explosive. This is near valencia and caesar chavez, everyone was evacuated here. Also a near by construction site and st. Lukes hospital which is just across the street was ordered to shelter in place, meaning nobody coming or going. Finally around 11 30 this morning the bomb squad finished ex raying the suspicious device and it was not a threat. Designed to make someone think it could be a explosive device but also had signs that it was meant to be a hoax. Reporter and again police say it does appear this may have been some kind of a hoax. Investigators arent sure if someone left that device intentionally here at the Salvation Army loading doctor if it may have fallen off one of the deliveries trucks that sort of come and go from the Salvation Army throughout the day.
