Burglars rob apartment after threatening 11-year-old boy Today 05:00 am JST Today | 07:46 am JST OSAKA Four men broke into an apartment in Osaka on Saturday morning and stole 7,000 yen after threatening an 11-year-old boy who was alone in the residence at the time. According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the second-floor apartment of a condominium in Suminoe Ward, Sankei Shimbun reported. The boy was spending the night in the apartment owned by his 72-year-old grandfather, Kikue Takeda, who was at a nearby izakaya that he operates. Police said the boy told them he was asleep when he was awakened by noises coming from another room. When he went to see what it was, he saw four young men searching the apartment.
