Sultan Warriors emerges winner by defeating Star-XI Baramulla Swarnim Vijay Varsh KPL-2021 Excelsior Sports Correspondent BARAMULLA, July 6: Sultan Warriors trounced Star-XI Baramulla with thin margin of seven runs in the final match in Swarnim Vijay Varsh KPL-2021, organised by Indian Army in collaboration with Baramulla Cricket Forum, here today. The tournament was organised by the Army to commemorate the India victory over Pakistan in the year 1971 war. The motive of the tournament was to elevate sportsmen spirit and brotherhood among the youth, to identify the natural talent and also to train and prepare them for UT and National level trial camps. The tournament was played on knockout basis wherein top 16 teams, out of 48 teams were invited to play the quarter-finals league matches. ....
