A federal grant helping students overcome obstacles to college starting in middle school and a three-pronged program of disciplinary, blending and online learning may be part of Sullivan County Schools future.
The Sullivan County Board of Education approved bidding that project, expected to cost about $1.3 million, din a 7-0 vote Thursday. The board also approved various other capital projects.
The estimate is based on a building of about 25,000 square feet with six swimming lanes, a concession stand that could serve swimming and supplement football events and provide wrestling space.
