Theres always kids off school sick. And sometimes kids off with term time holidays. The issue is blown out of all proportion because, for every child who misses a day because of a term time holiday, there are 12 days missed because of illness. The cost of holidays outside of term time, home and abroad, is a worry for lots of families. So whats happended since last years case . 108 councils in england responded to our questions. 35 councils say they have changed their policy since the judgment.
