The victims are graduation-level students at a local college. According the case statement, the girl went to her male classmate s house in a neighbouring village around 8:00pm on Thursday. While the two were talking in front of the house, some young men, including Pulak Mazumder, Akbar Hossain and Raihan Uddin, appeared and alleged that the girl and the boy were in a relationship and termed it anti-social activities. The men then dragged the girl and boy into a room and beat them up while forcing them to be in a compromised state. At one stage, they taped the duo and demanded Tk 50,000.
