At this devastating time, our hearts go out to the faculty and students at Laurentian University.
There are no words to describe what anguish they have gone through. There are untold legacies and accomplishments from every department that seem to have been heartlessly disregarded in this wrenching process.
The phrase ‘The Day The Music Died’ would easily come to mind as a journalistic metaphor when writing an article about the Laurentian University music program; however, the spirit in which it is used dismisses the vast array of musical activity in our community.
