Kupwara,September 07 (Scoop News)-In order to promote Teetwal as tourist destination under Border Tourism in the valley, Tourism Department in collaboration with District Administration Kupwara, Lolab- Bungus-Dringyari Development Authority (LBDDA), Cultural Academy and Army organised border tourism festival on the banks of Kishen Ganga at Teetwal near zero line.
The festival witnessed participation of large number of local and non local tourists with much fanfare
Director Tourism, G.N Itoo was the chief guest on the occasion.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray; Brigadier 104 Infantry Brigade; SSP Kupwara, Yougal Manhas; Chief Executive Officer, LBDDA, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; SDM Karnah, Commanding Officers of different Army Units ; BDC Chairpersons, Sectoral and District officers; PRIs and other public representatives besides large gathering of people from different walks of life.
