Of damage in homes along the river. At least people had enough flooding to actually boat through their home in guerneville. Today the cleanup and Damage Assessment will begin. At its peak yesterday the river hit 37. 8 feet and thats 6 feet above flood stage. As of 2 a. M. , it had dropped about a half foot. But it is still enough to overwhelm some homes and businesses. The floodwaters went right up the highway 116 yesterday which is the main drag through this area. But it never actually flooded that road.
