10,145 Gloucestershire residents nominated a cause close to their hearts, with 179 charitable causes in the area receiving votes.

Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving 14 local charities a share of £120,000 as part of its 12 Days of Giving campaign.
People in Gloucestershire nominated over 179 different local charities, with 14 being selected to receive a £1000 donation.
Gloucester-based Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving 14 Gloucestershire charities a £1,000 donation as part of its 12 Days of Giving campaign.
Throughout November 2020, members of the public were asked to nominate a charity to receive a donation, with Ecclesiastical announcing 10 winning charities each day between Monday 7 and Tuesday 22 December 2020.
Over 10,000 people in Gloucestershire nominated 179 different charitable causes in the county, with 14 local charities chosen to receive a £1,000 gift – including Allsorts Gloucestershire, Cotswold Riding for the Disabled and Gloucester Royal Hospital. ....
