deck. we re showing some video that you shot on your iphone and that s the part i think a lot of people don t understand. with the storm surge and the flooding. that your home starts to feel like an island on the beach or like an island in some cases with an ocean all around you. it s a very different feeling than a lot of rain and a lot of wind. it s a completely enveloping situation that you re in. fortunately, you don t seem to have any need to be rescued. but that would be difficult if that had to be the case. right. it s just unnerving. yesterday, before it got dark, we saw a boat wash up into our neighbor s yard. we have multiple trees down. our next door neighbor s house is the roof is ripped off. the screened-in porch is gone. the garage doors are gone. there s refrigerators just across the street floating. wow. but we do have an exit plan if need be. so we do not want any rescuers to be put in harm s way to come get us. we made this decision.
