unsuccessful attempts. she went through the security area and into the boarding area and was unsuccessful trying to board an alaskan airlines flight. but she didn t stop there. she was able to board a southwest airlines flight. once on the ground in lrnlt a., the crew did their hid count before connecting to the flight in phoenix. that s when they determined hartman was not a paying customer. they contacted police and she was arrested. earlier this year she was arrested at san francisco s airport for breaching security. there she s had a pattern of getting around that checkpoint. we ve actually had several encounters with marilyn hartman at san francisco airport. she showed up there several times, indicating she wanted to go to hawaii where it was nice and warm, and she never had a ticket to get on a plane to take her there, but it did not deter her from trying several times, each of which she was taken into custody. reporter: so here s an a little bit about her resume. j

monitored. today was an important step towards bringing that to a resolution. a break-in robbery caught on video. a man with a shotgun hit a s customer, all this happened two weeks ago at a convenience store on north capital avenue in north san jose. you can see the suspect yelling at customers, then pointing his not gun at a worker demanding all money in the register. he left in a silver toyota sedan with some cash and another suspect behind the wheel. we re following a developing story in east san jose. a construction worker fell to his death near the intersection of sierra and north capital avenue this afternoon. this is the second deadly construction accident in the bay area in less than 24 hours. nbc bay area s marianne pfafavr is at the site. do we know what went wrong? reporter: investigators are looking into it, but what we do know is the man was delivering sheetrock to this construction site off capital avenue in san jose. police say he was trying to pull the s
point which is all but five teachers of the thousands of teachers in the diocese of oakland have returned to sign contracts. reporter: spokesman says it would be yes, ma am practical to rescind and issue new contracts. he says the bishop will meet with the school s faculty next week to explain the intent of the changes in next year s contract. we hope that they ll continue to learn from what the bishop has said this week and what he might say next week and change their minds and come back and teach. reporter: meanwhile, many students and parents are saying they re standing behind the teachers. we re just doing everything we can to stop it. i d love it if the bishop said i ve listened, and let s pause, let s go back to last year s contract and leave time to process this. reporter: in an interview published in the cath lek newspaper, the bishop says he apologizes if the new contract s wording has been miss interpreted. he says he is not on a witch-hunt and has no in
