Italy s Gardaland last weekend officially opened the world s first Jumanji dark rides to visitors. It s the first of several planned Jumanji-themed attractions at Merlin theme parks worldwide.
The new Jumanji dark ride that opens next month in Italy will not be a one-off. Sony Pictures Entertainment and Merlin Entertainments announced today that they have completed a deal for Merlin to develop and install an undisclosed number of Jumanji-themed attractions at its theme parks and water parks in Europe and North America.
Transporting visitors into the parallel dimension of the Jumanji game , Jumanji: The Adventure ride will open on April 2 at Gardaland Resort on the shores of Lake Garda.
