City police are investigating an alleged shooting that occurred about 2 p.m. Monday.
Police were dispatched to Stinson Alley near Park Avenue, according to Police Chief Damon Hagan, where a man suffered a non-life-threatening bullet wound. The victim went to UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center on his own, Hagan said.
Police at the scene confirmed they followed a trail of blood to the location where the victim was most likely shot.
Hagan asked anyone with information connected to the shooting to speak to Aaron Levan, the police officer supervising the investigation, at 570-327-7548.
