Both institutions will have proms and graduation ceremonies, but both will be taking extra precautions and hosting them in unconventional ways to ensure the safety of those taking part. “They deserve to have a prom and graduation,” said Harper Woods Superintendent Steven McGhee. “It’s been a grueling 18 years of school. In the midst of this challenge, we still have opportunities. It has to be outside, but it still will happen, so hopefully we will be moving forward.
