Most of the state south of Route 195 picked up 1-2 inches of rain by early Friday afternoon except for the Jersey Shore where over three inches of rain fell in coastal Monmouth and Ocean counties.
FAIRFIELD TWP. â Three people are facing a variety of fraud charges related to the theft of more than $1 million from a Fairfield business. Police did not release the name of the business.
After a nearly five-month investigation by the Fairfield Police Department in consultation with the Essex County Prosecutorâs Office:
⢠Regina DeComa, 36, of Cedar Grove was charged with credit card theft, theft by deception, corporate misconduct and three counts of conspiracy.
⢠Allan Soriano, 42, of Cedar Grove was charged with credit card theft, theft by deception and two counts of conspiracy. He owns AJâs Lunchbox in West Caldwell.
⢠Dawn Becker, 55, of Oakland was charged with credit card theft, theft by deception, corporate misconduct and three counts of conspiracy.
