HOUSTON Chevron, GE, Goodyear and several others who produce and sell asbestos-containing materials is facing a suit alleging an oil drilling worker died from his exposure to their products. Doris Clevenger, spouse, individually and as personal representative of the Estate of Bobby Lee Clevenger, Amy Lee White and Steven Clevenger, children filed a complaint May 6 in Harris County District Court against American Clutch & Equipment Company, Chevron Phillips Chemical Company doing business as CP Chemical Company LLC, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and others. According to the plaintiffs complaint, Bobby Lee Clevenger worked at various oil drilling sites in San Angelo and the surrounding areas. They allege that Clevenger was exposed to asbestos-containing products that were produced or sold by the defendants and that he inhaled great quantities of asbestos fibers. ....
