Read More News at Prescott Valley Police Chief Steve Roser is back to work after an investigation by the Town of Prescott Valley. Roser had been put on paid administrative leave back on April 27th, after allegations of harassment leading to a hostile work environment surfaced. There were also allegations made pertaining to Roser’s administrative and policy decisions in recruitment, shift and vehicle assignments, both were unfounded. However, reports of Chief Roser’s communication style with his management team, which included the use of profanity, name calling and other disrespectful conduct were sustained. The investigation recommended a two-day unpaid suspension and a letter of reprimand, along with remedial training on “Emotional Intelligence” and “Code of Conduct.” Roser joined the department in November of 2019 and spent nearly 30 years with the Phoenix Police Department, the last ten years as shift commander. He returned to work on Monday. ....
