A long-term desire to work from home is evident in a new Department for Transport (DfT) report. The All Change Tracker report suggested low levels of interest for previous commuting routines. The study, from the Capgemini Research Institute, showed a huge shift in attitude away from travelling by public transport and car share. Midlands Asset Finance (MAF) rebrands Midland Asset Finance (MAF) has rebranded and will now trade under the name, MAF Finance Group. The rebrand follows the broker launching a group of specialist divisions across the business over the last four years, including MAF Healthcare, MAF Property, MAF Vehicle Management and Leasing, MAF Construction and MAF Agriculture. The broker said the specialist car and van leasing division will continue to trade as MAF Leasing, while all other divisions will be brought under the MAF Finance Group name. During the pandemic in 2020, the broker arranged over £43 million of CBILS funding for 124 businesses, said the company. ....
Licence Bureau, part of TTC Group, has surpassed the five million driver licence check milestone. The company says it processed its latest million checks in record time, six months sooner than the previous million was bridged. Steve Pinchen, sales director at Licence Bureau, said, “Reaching such a milestone, and in record time, is a truly positive sign that fleet operators continue to embrace road safety by ensuring their drivers are compliant - even during such challenging times. “The achievement is testament to the people, processes and systems we have in place that continue to develop year-on-year. The acquisition by TTC Group in March has not only served to strengthen all these areas but has really propelled us forward as an operation.” ....
