Texas. his 1,000 mile journey has taken him from janesville, wisconsin where there used to be a gn plant to the milwaukee airport then a two and a half hour flight down to texas. steve puts fender on suv, ten hours a day sometimes six days a week. it s tough out there. it s everywhere. i feel fortunate that i got the job. reporter: 1,933 gm workers lost their jobs when the janesville plant closed. what happened next is a sign of the recession tool. there s one, two, three, four gone. reporter: accepted jobs at gm plants outside of wisconsin, that forced hem between selling their homes at huge losses or staying put. ....
